Ben Sudbeck
When Taylor Creek Physical Therapy opened their Norfolk clinic last fall, owners Gary and Kristi Jagels knew it would only be a matter of time before they needed to hire another Physical Therapist. What they didn't know, was how the timing would fit perfectly with the plans of Ben Sudbeck PT, DPT. Ben graduated from Norfolk Catholic HS in 2001, and was accepted into the Creighton University Physical Therapy program. After earning his doctorate from Creighton in 2007, Ben spent three years with Makovicka/Sylliaasen Physical Therapy in Waverly and Wahoo, NE.
The Jagels' and the Norfolk Area Recruiters made contact with Ben last fall and stayed in touch over the coming months. Ben considered the growing Norfolk medical community, evidenced by the hospital expansion and college of nursing, an important factor in his decision to return to Norfolk. The opportunity for deeper involvement in the community and the local schools was also key to Ben's move.
Ben's interests lie in the areas of sports and orthopedic rehabilitation, focusing on innovative evidence based treatment. Ben has also spent time in New York working toward a certification in physical therapy for dancers and performers.
Taylor Creek Physical Therapy is excited to bring a highly qualified PT to the Norfolk medical community, while at the same time, helping a young person return to our community.
Taylor Creek Physical Therapy has two clinics, one in Madison next to Subway, the other in Norfolk, located behind Menard's in the Tommark Plaza. Ben joins the staff of Kristi Jagels MS, PT, Amy Nielsen, PTA, Corenna Iverson, PTA, Karen Knapp, office manager, and Gary Jagels, business manager. Taylor Creek Physical Therapy offers rehabilitation services following joint replacement, orthopedic surgery and sports related injuries, in addition to services for people of all ages suffering from back and neck pain, fractures, arthritis, amputations, stroke, and injuries related to work or accidents. The goal of physical therapy is to return the patient to normal activity as soon as possible, and provide the skills needed to prevent re-injury or disability.
