| Primary Duties: | The individual will be responsible for the graphic layout of newspaper ads for our grocery store customer. Will utilize Multi Ad creator on a MacIntosh computer and work from a template design making changes and doing custom work for weekly ad circulars, bag stuffers and other support advertising items and materials for Affiliated Foods Midwest Retailers. Ads are printed on a four color web press and ads are designed from a basic template and then customized to meet store requirement. Images used in the ads are available from the computer network folders. Hours for this position would be 4:00pm to 1:00 with hour lunch. Would be flexible if wanting to work till 12:30 w/1/2 hour lunch. |
| Skills: | A proficiency in computer skills (prior use of Multi-Ad creator would be a plus), along with strong spelling and proofreading skills, prior experience in desktop publishing or working with picture images in creating documents. Preference will be given to individuals experienced with layout programs (such as Quark Express, Quark or Pagemacker) with skills on Mac computers. However, training can be provided to individuals who possess good computer skills. |
