| Primary Duties: | Will work opposite another pharmacist each working 40 hours a week. Responsibilities include interpreting and dispensing physician medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, monitoring relevant lab values, calculating kinetics and dosing appropriate antibiotics, initiating and maintaining TPN orders, education of patients, nurses and hospital staff. Dispensing duties include in-patients, out-patients and IV admixture. There are several computer programs to learn and run, Siemen's Pharmacy, OmniCell, Advanced Clinicals, Siemen's admitting/billing system, etc. There will be one pharmacist and one technician on overnights responsible for new orders, west campus cart-fill, some IV admixture and other clinical duties. |
| Skills: | Require graduate from an accredited pharmacy program and current licensure or eligible. |
